In the American Orthopedic Institute (AOI) of India, The Registered Orthopedic Technologist provides casting and allied services to inpatients and outpatients. Duties include: ordering supplies for the Orthopedic Clinic and hospital, maintaining equipment on the traction carts in the Surgical Suite and SPD. Educating patients and their family on cast care with follow up assessments, participating in ASOP Certification other related duties as assigned.

In the American Orthopedic Institute (AOI) of India, The Orthopedic Technologist Program provides students with in-depth knowledge and skills necessary for immobilization, traction, casting, splinting, and assisting physicians with orthopedic care. Completion of this program or after the 6-Month Course, we will administer an Online Exam in collaboration with American Orthopedic. There is an Exam Fee of Rs. 15,000 or $200 directly payable to AOI India for American Orthopedic Certification, and upon successful completion and the passing of the Online Exam you will be granted your ROT Certificate.
